MCET provide separate Hostel facilities for boys and girls (120 each)

Hostel: General Instructions

• Submit your application for admission in the required form available from the office.
• The warden gives admission after a personal interview with the applicant along with parent
• A deposit of Rs.5000- should be remitted at the time of admission. This amount will refunded on completion of the course
• Remit your rent, mess fee etc. on or before 5 of every month.
• If a student falls ill inform the warden immediately.
• Each hosteller must have a local guardian who should be available when necessary
• Normally a hosteller can go home only once a month.
• Every hosteller is responsible for his/her valuable articles or ornaments. Keep them in the rooms at your own risk. The authorities are not responsible for any loss or damage.
• Have no contact with the cooks, servants and other employees.
• Keep the walls clean. Stick no notices or paste no papers on the walls.
• Keep your room neat and tidy
• Do not waste food.
• Discuss your problems with the warden.
• Steps are for going up and down, and not for sitting on.
• Use the fans and lights in the room for your comfort. But switch them off when you leave the room.
